What we've been up too lately

It has been a few months since we've posted something on our blog, so I thought I would do a summary post overviewing the past few months.

Well, Allan graduated from seminary back in May.

Then we went to Yosemite with Tammy and Doug and friends - on their annual trip.

Spent some time with our family...

Moved from our dear home in Glendale...

And went on a "babymoon" to a B&B near the Sequoias.

I am having a boy! Perhaps our sons can be buddies? :o) The name we decided on is Jakob Adler - and we'd call him Jack (not Jake) after my dad's cousin who passed away last year.

A little about myself and the purpose of this blog

Hi! I'm Sandi! My husband and I initially started this blog as part of our wedding invitation back in 2006. That's why we have Allan's side and Sandi's side of our "engagement story."

More importantly, we also have our salvation testimonies where you can read about how my husband Allan and myself each got saved by the grace of God through Jesus Christ.

Allan finished his studies at the Master's Seminary, graduating with an M.Div. degree in May 2009. I finished in 2011 with the Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling program at the Master's College. We now have three boys and are ministering in the Philippines as missionaries. You can learn more about that at thelucianos.net.

I enjoy reflecting on the things God teaches me through every day life. It helps me to formulate what I need to learn from the blessings, trials and routines of life by writing out my thoughts. Thanks for reading!
